Positive Voice is the Greek Association of People Living with HIV. The Association was founded in 2009 with the aim of promoting the rights of people living with HIV, countering the transition of HIV, as well as tackling its social and economic impact in Greece. Positive Voice works to ensure better prevention practices, treatment, as well as social care services for people living with HIV/AIDS and others vulnerable to HIV social groups. It also works for social acceptance and solidarity for these groups so as to address violations of their dignity and human rights. Its main projects include the Prevention & Sexual Health Centres "Checkpoint" in Athens and Thessaloniki, "Ref Checkpoint" for refugees and migrants, the "Red Umbrella" Empowerment drop-in center for Sex Workers, the Harm Reduction project for people who use drugs and the "Streetwork Project" which conducts outreach activities for all the affected communities.
